**Key Relationships**:Finance Team

**Job Purpose**:We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Associate with a strong work ethic to join our dynamic team. You will be reporting to the Head of Finance Operations and will be responsible for managing all customer and courier facing financial transactions, working with peers across the business in finance, operations, sales and customer success across our global locations in Europe, North America and APAC.

The role will ensure that all billing and accounting for customer and courier accounts are accurate and processed in a timely manner; to streamline our financial operations for optimal efficiency and accuracy while working on improving processes to place a heavier reliance on data automation.

**What you'll do**:

- Lead on processing Financial Reconciliation (FR) across key regions of the business - this process is fundamental to the successful operations of the business;
- Ability to take a logical, problem-solving approach, to any issues or discrepancies with the FR process - identifying the issue, designing a solution and implementing the fix;
- Liaise with internal Customer Service focused teams to provide insight, additional detail and justification on the outcomes of the FR process;
- Undertake detailed work on transforming significant amounts of complex data to precise formatting, ensuring no loss of data integrity throughout;
- Perform deep dive analysis on high quantities of data, providing key findings to the team in a clear and concise manner;
- Work with the Head of Finance Operations and wider Finance team to automate and improve existing processes, as well as designing new ones;
- Become the point of contact within the team to create, process & respond to disputes through our payment processing platform Stripe;
- Work closely with other members of both the Finance Operations team, and the Finance team more widely, being a key part of building a best-in-class Finance team;
- Function within the Finance Operations team to assist in providing management with actionable commercial insights on company performance; and
- Assist with the roll out of our FR tools to new markets and couriers across the globe.

**Who you are**:

- Self-motivated and able to work comfortably under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
- Knowledge of advanced Excel is essential;
- Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable;
- Able to translate large volumes of data into clear and actionable tasks;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills;
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks in fast-paced transaction-led environment with various stakeholders (couriers, customers, internal stakeholders);
- Drive, motivation, and excellent attention to detail; and
- Fluency in English (oral & written)
