Job Purpose

To oversee and coordinate all painting activities at the project site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, client specifications, and industry regulations, particularly for oil & gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage painting crews, ensuring proper allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Plan daily painting activities and ensure timely completion as per project schedules.

Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, especially in hazardous oil & gas environments.

Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors for paint inspection and approval.

Maintain daily progress reports, work permits, and site documentation.

Ensure correct use of protective coatings, tools, and equipment.

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the painting team.

Identify material and equipment requirements and request in advance.

Resolve any technical or manpower issues affecting productivity.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / ITI in Painting, Coatings Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial painting/coating works, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in the oil & gas sector.

Knowledge of painting standards (SSPC, NACE, ISO, ASTM).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

HSE awareness and valid safety training certificates (e.g., H2S, confined space).
Skills & Competencies

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in managing multi-national workforces.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to work under pressure in offshore and onshore environments.
