**Job Title**: Data Governance & Quality Lead
**Experience Required**: 7+ Years

**Location**: Kolkata (Hybrid - Frequent Travel Required)

**Position Summary**

We are looking for a highly experienced **Data Governance and Quality professional** to lead the development and implementation of governance frameworks that ensure data accuracy, integrity, compliance, and security across the organization. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, especially in data-sensitive domains such as **banking or financial services**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and oversee data governance frameworks, standards, and policies to uphold data quality, consistency, and security.
- Conduct ongoing **data quality assessments**, audits, and root cause analyses to identify and remediate data issues.
- Drive organization-wide adoption of data governance policies through stakeholder engagement, training, and communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, Compliance, Operations, and Business Units—to ensure governance alignment with business goals.
- Monitor data usage and ensure compliance with established data governance protocols.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance documentation related to data governance strategies, data ownership models, and quality control mechanisms.
- Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory audits and compliance initiatives related to data.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or a related discipline.
- **7+ years of experience** in **data governance** and **data quality management**, preferably within the **banking or financial services sector**.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and executing enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship frameworks.
- Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, metadata, master data, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for data accuracy and process improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and able to operate with mínimal supervision.
- **Certifications** in data governance or data quality management (e.g., DCAM, CDMP) are a strong plus.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
