Job Description:
Must have skills:
5+ Years
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve live
critical issues independently
Development experience (Java backend development exp is mandatory, Python, SQL) OR
Production Support
Basic Degree in Engineering or Computing related
Weekend and after-hours support, on a rotating schedule, is required

1. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve live critical issues independently
3. Experience with Operating Systems: Unix/Linux OS, Schell Scripting, TCP/IP Networking
4. Experience with Secure Computing: TLS and Cryptographic Tools
5. Experience with Databases and SQL: SQL/Stored Procs and Oracle
6. Experience with Programming Languages: Java, Python, Perl, Javascript.
7. Experience with Batch Frameworks: Control-M, Spring Batch, Autosys, Apache AirFlow
Experience with Monitoring/Alerting Tools (Splunk, Signal FX, Nagios)
- 2nd level support for live site production issues. Provide initial triage and response to unknown issues/incidents, and identifying
- Identify exposures and mitigation plans ranging from making customers whole to working up stream to ID root cause drivers of
solutions through product and process enhancements.
- Prioritize solutions based on impact to the customer and PayPal business. When needed, develop, and implement immediate sto
Product Development team resources to develop long term solutions.
- Work with product development teams and various vendors, business groups to prioritize, identify and develop solutions, and su
- Work with Site Operation and command center teams to address sites issues.
- Independent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve live critical issues.
