**Job Description**:
JOB TITLE: Marketing Executive (General Mills India)

DIVISION/MARKET: Based in Mumbai, managing India

JOB LEVEL: FUNCTION: Marketing

REPORTS TO: Associate Marketing Manager

PURPOSE:
This role supports the day-to-day running of the Marketing department, with responsibility for all packaging development, SKUs (item codes) management, reporting and administrative tasks as well as support on consumer events and activations across the Retail & Exports channels in India

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead packaging development for India retail and Exports portfolio
- Support managing the inventory and supply planning by creating/recording Item/ SKU/ Design codes in a timely manner and tracking approvals
- Assist the marketing team to execute consumer activations, promotions and events, including the designing and ordering of premiums, liaising with the Trade Marketing team and agencies to manage timely execution
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team to order samples, manage admissibility, coordinate with vendors and agencies
- Work with the agencies/ partners to obtain data and then report the same to the marketing team

RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the Associate Marketing Manager for India but works closely with brand managers/ Asst. Brand managers in the marketing team. It also requires close coordination with the Trade Marketing head and marketing teams of our distributors.

SCOPE:
This position is responsible for India Retail and Exports and is based in Mumbai

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior experience in artwork development and management is preferred
- Relevant marketing & administrative experience with an MNC FMCG company is preferred
- Fresh graduates will not be considered
- A minimum requirement of a Degree, preferably in Marketing or Communication
- Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

- Strong execution and operational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, and organize work efficiently, on time and in budget
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confident, and able to express ideas clearly
- Self-starter and fast learner who can work independently, with mínimal supervision
- Resourceful with a positive attitude, thrive on challenges and driven to develop solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Competency in Excel is a must
