We need someone who can communicate effectively, develop an ability to follow high-level strategy conversations about bidding, and be comfortable supporting the rest of our team in managing a timely bid process.**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Understanding our processes and supporting the bid team to follow them
- Providing support to the bid managers/writers by liaising with appropriate departments and specialists to obtain relevant information/details to allow written solutions to be developed
- Assisting in the production of best in class bid quality answers, CVs and evidence
- Proof-reading
- Formatting bid responses
- You will have an exceptional eye for detail, be extremely organised and have very good written English skills.**Essential**:

- Highest level of attention to detail
- Excellent writing skills - with a specific focus on attention to detail and ability to review text for spelling and grammar
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of supporting bid creation and tender submissions and experience in international and UK markets will be an added advantage
- Flexible attitude to undertake a wide range of tasks
- Good team-working skills and the ability to function effectively in a small team with individual responsibilities and collective goals

**Preferable (not essential)**:

- Experience in bid preparation / bid management / business development
- Experience in bid management and response processes
- Professional services or construction/engineering background
