**Job Requirements
***Purpose**:
You are responsible for designing and developing detailed mechanical parts for medical devices for system and subsystem level.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Design and develop detailed mechanical designs for product development and life cycle management programs.
- Engaging in all phases of product life cycle management programs of capital medical devices, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
- Key contributor in building robust technical proposals for system/ sub system level development/ life cycle management programs.
- Modelling experience: Mechanical CAD (Experience in 3D/2D drawings design by CAD software e.g. PTC Creo), Mechanisms, FEA, Fluid Mechanics, Thermal, or other. Relevant expertise in product design for plastic injection, sheet metal, metal stamping, die-casting, rubber parts.
- Qualification in Design for Six Sigma; experienced in using tools and methodologies such as DFMEA; CTQ flow down; risk assessment etc. Proof of statistical engineering experience and design for reliability. Capable to executive seamlessly tolerance calculations through multiple components
- Integration of electrical components inside a mechanical embodiment (thermal management, EMC, wiring, PCB, software integration, display ).
- Drive excellence in CTQ definition and control; design FMEA analysis and Design review and development with (internal) engineering teams, OEM/ODM manufacturers, including lifecycle product quality improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and assembling techniques for thermo-plastics, elastomers, rubbers, and fabrics. Capable of challenging tool makers, molders, assembly suppliers on their technical proposals.
- Mentoring/guiding/hand-holding young engineers in the team and helping them ramp-up well

**Work Experience**
- Minimal bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. Has more than 12 years’ working experience.
- Understand & knowledge of full product cycle from concept to mass production.
- Experience in 3D/2D drawings design by CAD software e.g. PTC Creo.
- Understand & knowledge in Simulation of strength and thermal (Static/dynamic analysis) and dynamic thermal simulation.
- Knowledge in regulatory requirement in Medical Device industry 510K, ISO13485, IEC6060-1 standards.
- Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Good team player, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet aggressive quality, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets.
- Global project experience with complex functional stakeholders’ management.
