Job Description Job Title Mechanical Architect Job Description As a Mechanical Architect in our S&RCbusiness unit, you will support remediation, relaunch (MLD), Sustenance and NPI activities and lead mechanical architecture and design for CPAP/BiPAP devices (Dream Station 1 & 2), driving product lifecycle activities including Modify Launched Design (MLD), PDLM, and CAPA. Collaborate across functions and suppliers to deliver robust, compliant, and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities - Lead design changes and MLD activities for Sleep therapy devices. - Define and maintain modular, scalable mechanical architecture. - Ensure safety, reliability, and performance compliance. - Drive technical roadmap, feasibility studies, and innovation. - Guide cross-functional teams and suppliers through development and risk management (FMEA, DFMEA). - Ensure alignment with QMS, regulatory standards, and global engineering practices. You are a part ofConnected Care cluster organization, focusing onthe development of mechanical and electrical designs for a common platform serving multiple product lines. Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of experience. - Expertise in machine design, mechanisms, materials, and value engineering. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, machining). - Proficiency in DFMEA, DFM, CTS/CTQ, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up. - Experience with CAD tools (Creo, ProE, SolidWorks), simulation (ANSYS), and PLM (Windchill). - Prior working experience in medical device design. - Familiarity with medical device standards (IEC, FDA, UL, CE). - Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
