Key responsibilities of an Italian Commi:

- **Basic food preparation**:Washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and juliennning vegetables, herbs, and meats according to Italian culinary techniques.
- **Mise en place**:Preparing all necessary ingredients for dishes ahead of time, including sauces, dressings, and garnishes.
- **Cooking basics**:Simple cooking tasks like boiling pasta, sautéing vegetables, and grilling meats.
- **Maintaining cleanliness**:Keeping the kitchen work station clean and organized, washing dishes, and following proper sanitation procedures.
- **Following recipes**:Accurately measuring and following established Italian recipes.
- **Stock management**:Rotating stock properly and notifying chefs when ingredients are running low.
- **Learning Italian culinary techniques**:Gaining knowledge of traditional Italian cooking methods like pasta making, risotto preparation, and sauce reduction.

Skills and qualifications for an Italian Commi:

- Passion for Italian cuisine and a desire to learn new techniques
- Knowledge of Neapolitana Pizzas, pasta & other Italian cuisine.
- Basic culinary skills, including knife handling and food safety knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills to understand instructions from chefs
- Previous kitchen experience is beneficial, but not always required

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
