**Job Summary**:
The Packaging Supervisor oversees daily packaging operations, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently, meet quality standards, and adhere to safety regulations. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**:

- Supervise and coordinate all packaging line activities to ensure production goals are met.
- Monitor packaging processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain best practices to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead, train, and mentor packaging staff, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to meet operational needs.
- Address employee concerns and provide performance feedback to foster growth and development.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure products are packaged according to specifications, with attention to quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaging materials and finished goods to identify and address defects.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain high standards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce workplace safety standards and conduct routine safety training for team members.
- Ensure packaging operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Address and resolve safety issues promptly.
- **Inventory and Equipment Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate routine maintenance and repair of packaging equipment to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and liaise with maintenance teams for resolution.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and material usage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, including regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Graduation.
- **Experience**:

- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of packaging machinery and production workflows.
- **Working Hours**:

- 12 hours shift
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
