Develop software to review, analyze, classify and perform follow up activities on all product complaints relative to the identity, quality, reliability, safety and effectiveness of medical devices. Software will evaluates for reporting criteria to Government Agencies to determine if the event reasonably suggests a device may have or could have caused or contributed to a death or serious injury.

Write Investigation Summaries based on technical product analysis information provided by the plant.

**A Day in the Life
Create, maintain software product that helps handle customer complaints

An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

**Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities
- Determines systems software design requirements
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency
- Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures
- May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.

**Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree; Engineering or Science degrees preferred (e.g. SW,EE, Biomedical Engineering)
- 4+ years software development, quality assurance experience in medical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- SAP Business Objects Knowledge/experience
- Ability to turn customer requests into technical requirements.
- Ability to work independently once trained.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Ability to be proactive and lead initiatives technically
- Ability to multitask.
- Minimum travel may be required

**Strongly desired**:

- Experience with Medtronic GCH Reporting Data
- Familiarity with navigating Power BI Dashboards
