**Past experience**:At least 3 years at a marketing, social media, PR or communications agency**Education**: Post-Graduate Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations**Overall Responsibilities**: Plan media and communication for the Neev Literature Festival and associated properties, namely the Neev Book Award, the NLF Reading Challenge, and the NLF Fellowships**About the Job**:The Neev Literature Festival was born from our vision to grow readers for life.
- Children’s literature in India is a relatively recent phenomenon. While India has had great literature for adults for decades, and that tradition of writing is delightfully moving to children’s books, access to these books remains a challenge.
- We began the Neev Literature Festival in 2017 and the Neev Book Award in 2018 to find and showcase great children’s books from and about Indian lives. Children’s books that are Mirrors, Windows and Doors to the Indian identity.
- We would like the festival team to be made up of people who are passionate about reading themselves, and to showcase all the different ways that multimodal reading can shape children’s lives.**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Develop a strategy to manage the festival’s social media touch points: utilizing these as tools to share our story and connect to content posted in other places
- Create high-quality content for collateral, working with external designers and agencies to design the final output
- Track audience engagement with the brand, and the impact of the same
- Coordinate with the website teams to ensure that structural changes are updated
- Work with the PR Team for the festival to have the required coverage across print and digital platforms
- Maintain and grow relationships with journalists, media partners and relevant publications to aid the PR effort
- Identify stories and links from the festival’s events which will help raise its national and international profile
- Coordinate and manage the photography and video edit teams during events related to the festival and ensure the quality of the deliverables is maintained

- Establish healthy working relationships and play an active team-player role with a cross-section of agencies, delegates, and patrons of the festival
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including creative approaches to marketing and communications that reduce complexity and ambiguity
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
- Awareness of communication industry trends and research.
- Have a flexible and responsive attitude, positivity, and high energy
