
Online Sales Executive

You will qualify and close sales leads generated by our sales development teams
- Qualify and close new sales opportunities that are self-generated or through partner relationships
- Manage a small business customer type sales process through qualification, need analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close
- Develop a high level of industry knowledge and Avalara's offerings
- You will develop relationships with Avalara partners and other third parties to increase opportunities
- Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Avalara to help meet our goals
**Qualifications**:
- 2 + years of successful B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new customers
- Experience handing high velocity and complex selling situations
- Documented success achieving assigned quotas
- Consultative, solution-based sales methodology in a high velocity sales model
- Engage in telemarketing and inside sales activities to generate leads and close deals
- Specialize in technology sales, particularly in software or technical products
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals
**Skills**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in technology sales or related field
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of customer needs
- Proficiency in telemarketing, inside sales, and warm calling techniques
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills to close deals effectively
