**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Project Overview**
- The Personalization component manages Items & User data and recommends products & services to the end users, based on their preferences.
- The AI component has 3 major components:

- Auto Chat AI → use General AI to handle free-text input from end-users, answer FAQs, etc
- Scenario Generation AI → use AI to generate conversation scenarios
- Recommendation Engine → use Machine Learning to generate personalized offers

**Your Typical Day With Us**
- Collaborate with domain experts, engineers, designers, and product management to establish and achieve quality goals, and ensure that the product works as expected
- Gather information needed to perform QA activities from different stakeholders
- Analyze the requirements, identify project and quality risks, and strategize QA activities accordingly
- Work in an agile environment alongside the engineering team to drive and execute project plans
- Design the test plans, create test cases, and execute the tests
- Prioritize tests, execute them, and report issues promptly
- Manage the test cases for regression test
- Work with the QA Chapter to establish quality standards throughout the cross-functional teams
- Automate tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline

**Project Requirements**:
**Required Skills**:

- Good knowledge of web service and microservice
- Min. 5-6 years of experience in the software development industry (or equivalent skills)
- Experience working in an agile environment
- The ability to strategize the test approach based on product risk
- Proficiency in crafting clear and detailed test plans, employing visual aids such as charts and matrix tables to enhance comprehension for reviewers.
- The ability to utilize the various test techniques to cover all necessary bases
- The ability to cover error and edge cases as well
- Willingness to learn new technology and skills quickly
- Ability to identify issues, discover unknowns, and solve problems in QA
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaison between domain experts, engineers, designers, and product management

**Nice to have skills**
- Shift left testing and test automation in an agile environment
- Proficiency in working on projects within the domains of AI and/or Personalization Engines
- Experience in _**UI automation **_
- Test Framework: Playwright
- Scripting Language: JavaScript / Typescript
- Adherence to coding standards set forth by the team, ensuring consistency and readability of code
