Job Title: Cross-Departmental Coordinator

Location: Elements Mall

Reports To: Managing Director (MD)

Job Summary:
The Cross-Departmental Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between the Managing Director and all departments within Elements Mall. This role is crucial for ensuring effective communication, timely execution of requests, and seamless collaboration across various teams. The Coordinator will be responsible for gathering requirements from the MD, delegating tasks to relevant departments, and monitoring progress to meet established timelines. Additionally, the Coordinator will assess Key Result Areas (KRA) for each individual, conducting regular performance evaluations to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaison and Communication:

- Act as the main point of contact for the MD, facilitating communication between the MD and all departments.
- Gather, clarify, and document the MD’s requirements and requests for various initiatives.

2. Task Coordination:

- Delegate tasks and requirements to appropriate departments, ensuring clarity of expectations and timelines.
- Monitor progress on assigned tasks, providing support and guidance as needed to ensure timely completion.

3. Timeline Management:

- Establish and maintain timelines for all tasks and projects, ensuring that all departments are aware of deadlines.
- Regularly update the MD on the status of ongoing projects and any potential delays or issues.

4. Performance Assessment:

- Develop a framework for assessing the KRA of each individual within the departments.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare and present regular reports to the MD summarizing project statuses, departmental performance, and individual assessments.
- Document all communications, decisions, and action items for future reference.

6. Problem Solving:

- Identify potential challenges or bottlenecks in project execution and work proactively with departments to resolve issues.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork among departments.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Gather feedback from departments and the MD to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency.
- Implement best practices for cross-departmental collaboration and communication.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, coordination, or a similar role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in performance management and assessment methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
