**JOB TITLE** : Officer/Executive - Environment, Health and Safety

**REPORTS TO** : Assistant Manager EHS/ Operations / Factory Manager

**PURPOSE OF JOB** : Responsible for Identification, Planning and Execution of Safety, Health

and Environment related activities and implementing ISO 14001 & 45001

Standards.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for Planning and Execution of the Safety, Health, Environment related activities there by creating a pleasant, safe work atmosphere.
- To function as the supporting at the Site as per the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 documentation.
- Prepare EHS performance statistics, prepare audit reports, and present findings to management. Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- To ensure Area and Equipment Safety Analysis and the potential areas are identified and suitable counter measures.
- Deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of EHS practices and policies. Foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve safety performance.
- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents. Prepare reports and recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Coordination with site safety committee to ensure that proper root cause analysis and corrective actions are taken for any accidents and near miss.
- Work with cross-functional teams to promote EHS initiatives. Partner with Production, engineering, and management to integrate EHS considerations into business practices.
- To develop a system for management of contractors, suppliers, visitors and other personnel with respect to safety, health and environmental activities like work permit system adherence, etc.,
- To ensure the statutory requirements related to safety, health and environment such as Pollution Control Board Norms, Factories act etc. are compiled as per requirements.
- To ensure activities specifically with respect to depletion of natural resources such as electricity, water etc., are identified and implemented.
- To ensure that the requirements of MDD (93/42/EEC) and MDR (2017/745), ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, MHRA, ISO 45001 and other international standards are followed through relevant SOPs in the Quality Management System.
- This does not restrict management’s right to change assignment under its job rotation policy to suit company’s requirements and/or individuals growth opportunities.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
