Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Fashion Designer specializing in kidswear to bring fresh ideas, trends, and innovation to our design team. As a Fashion Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing garments that cater to the needs and preferences of children aged 0 to 12 years. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure the successful execution of your designs.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and implement creative and trendsetting designs for kidswear, including apparel and accessories, while considering comfort, safety, and durability.

2. Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and prints that are suitable for the target age group.

3. Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences and demands in the kidswear industry.

4. Create detailed sketches and technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

5. Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop seasonal product concepts and design briefs.

6. Work closely with the product development team to select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments.

7. Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet design specifications.

8. Conduct fittings and provide feedback to the pattern-making and production teams to ensure the desired fit and aesthetics are achieved.

9. Work in close collaboration with the production team to ensure smooth and timely manufacturing processes.

10. Maintain a keen eye for quality control throughout the production stages, ensuring that the final product meets the brand's standards.

11. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for marketing and branding initiatives.

12. Stay up to date with emerging design techniques, technologies, and industry trends.

13. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, interns, and other team members when necessary.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

2. 4+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably with a focus on kidswear.

3. Proven portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of kidswear design, including a variety of styles, silhouettes, and age-appropriate aesthetics.

4. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.

5. In-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques specific to kidswear.

6. Strong understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and the ability to translate them into successful designs.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control and attention to product specifications.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing design requirements.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
