Job Description: The Research Intern(s) will be an integral part of our team, supporting ongoing research and analysis in primarily urban planning and clean transportation sectors.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects aimed at improving the efficiency, sustainability, and livability of urban environments.

The intern will contribute to data collection, analysis, and the development of recommendations to address current urban and transportation challenges.

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct research on urban planning and transportation topics, including but not limited to land use, infrastructure development, transit systems, and sustainable mobility solutions.- Collect and analyze data related to urban and transportation trends, such as population growth, travel patterns, and infrastructure utilization.- Assist in the evaluation of existing urban plans, policies, and regulations, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.- Support the development of transportation models and simulations to assess the impact of proposed interventions and projects.- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and explore innovative solutions to urban and transportation challenges.- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.- Participate in meetings, workshops, and community engagement activities related to urban and transportation planning projects.- Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in urban planning and transportation.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or post-graduate program, such as urban planning, transportation engineering, geography, or a related field.- Strong interest in urban and transportation planning, with a desire to make positive contributions to sustainable urban development.- Solid analytical skills, with experience in data collection, manipulation, and interpretation.- Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), or statistical packages is a must.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Prior research experience or coursework in urban planning, transportation studies, or related fields is a plus.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
