As a Research Intern working with Dr. Anjali Hooda, you will be an integral part of a dynamic research team focused on functional medicine. Under the mentorship of Dr. Hooda, you will contribute to various research projects, gaining hands-on experience in scientific inquiry and methodology. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with renowned experts in the field and engage in cutting-edge research initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research projects and identify gaps in current knowledge.

2. Assist in designing and implementing experiments, surveys, or observational studies as per research protocols.

3. Collect and analyze data using appropriate statistical methods and software tools.

4. Prepare research materials such as questionnaires, interview guides, and data collection forms.

5. Contribute to writing research proposals, manuscripts, and presentations for conferences or publications.

6. Collaborate effectively with other team members, including researchers, technicians, and graduate students.

7. Maintain accurate records of research activities, including data documentation and laboratory notebooks.

8. Attend research meetings, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in the field.

10. Assist in other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the research laboratory or department.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in healthcare, or recent graduate.
- Strong interest in functional medicine and diagnosis, with a desire to pursue a career in academia or industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in scientific research methods, data analysis, and statistical software
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
- Prior research experience or coursework in research is preferred but not required.
