Job Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the two wheeler plant premises, personnel, and assets. The role involves monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Access Control**:

- Manage and monitor the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Verify identification and authorization of individuals entering the plant.
- Issue visitor passes and maintain a log of visitors.
- ** Patrol Duties**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the plant premises, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeter.
- Check for any signs of security breaches, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
- ** Surveillance**:

- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Report any irregularities or security breaches promptly to the Security Manager.
- ** Incident Response**:

- Respond to alarms and security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and emergencies.
- Assist in evacuations during emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Document and report incidents to the Security Manager.
- ** Safety Protocols**:

- Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards.
- Assist in fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- ** Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Prepare and submit incident reports and daily logs to the Security Manager.
- ** Coordination**:

- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assist in training new security personnel.
- ** Customer Service**:

- Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Address security-related inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

- ** Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- ** Experience**: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
- ** Certifications**: Security certification or training is an advantage.
- ** Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects as needed.
