**Positions in this function is responsible for creating and implementing Training Delivery Strategy and Content Writing Capability. Sets performance metrics, evaluates productivity, and helps team create long-term career plans within the organization.

**Key Competencies**:

- Excellent knowledge of the function of the training department, training options available, and differing learning and training styles
- Having a systematic approach to training, an understanding of design, tailored training, and an appreciation of the challenges trainers face
- Assist in building a learning & development curriculum based on the needs identified for new/existing capabilities
- Understanding of key techniques - TNA, evaluation, transfer of learning (putting learning in to practice in the workplace)
- Able to develop policy and strategy
- Ability to work with global teams in virtual environment
- An ambassador of training and development; able to promote new approaches to learning and development as appropriate
- Excellent consultancy skills: able to use training to change and organize organizational development
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision-making abilities. Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel and Visio, and HTML
- Knowledge of current trends and technology to support Documentation needs including tools such as MS- Visio, SharePoint Designer, HTML editors, SnagIt, MS - Word etc.
- Familiarity with health care or operations, business documentation, and technical writing
- Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams. Solid group facilitation and presentation skills

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Creating and executing the training strategy for the business
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solution to meet them
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
- Solves complex problem and develops innovative solutions
- Performs complex conceptual analysis
- Reviews work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvements
- Forecasts and plans resource requirements
- Provides explanation & information to others on the most complex issues
- Motivates & inspire other team members
- Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team
- Lead a team of trainers / content writers to execute Learning Solution team’s initiatives and meet goals. May lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Documentation intake and demand prioritization (estimating and scheduling of project management and documentation resource pool). Also, manage the assignment of Magellan inventory to team members. Manages inventory and ensures equal distribution of work
- Reviews SOPs to ensure they meet the quality standards and report status. Does audits monthly to report on progress of team members
- Create training intervention for high quality documentation, work with team to improve business partner feedback and adherence to BP specifics and quality standards
- Defines Documentation objectives. Performance Management of the team members, 1:1 monthly goal sheet discussions and feedback
- Participates in the planning, development, and evaluation of Documentation efforts. Work with business areas to manage the projects for Documentation, identify documentation opportunities and resolve conflicts to successfully implement projects
- Leads and develops team to produce effective, high quality programs while being a coach, a mentor, a facilitator
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Eligibility**
- Should have completed 12 months in current role
- Grade 25 employee will move to Grade 26
- Grade 26 employee to move lateral
- Should not be on active cap
