**Job Description - Operations Executive**

**Core purpose of the role**: To co-ordinate the day-to-day operational activities of voyage and time-chartered tankers.

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with agreed charterparty terms.
- Oversee agency appointments.
- Communicate with charterers, brokers, agents and vessels regarding voyage orders and vessel itineraries.
- Handle letters of indemnities
- Monitor vessel movement and voyage performances.
- Review vessel stowage and tank cleaning plans
- Support Chartering desk in pre fixture documentation
- Liaise with owners regarding oil major approvals.
- Support claims team with claims related queries

**Experience & Skills Required**
- Shore based shipping operator/ Ops Executive experience (sailing experience is not mandatory)
- Sound commercial awareness
- Junior officers without operations experience also can apply.
- Applicants with minimum 1 year of experience in tanker vessel operations will have an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
