Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

- Oversee the setup and day-to-day operations of the testing lab, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Develop and implement training programs for laboratory personnel.

Technical Oversight:

- Ensure all mechanical and chemical testing procedures comply with BIS standards and other relevant industry regulations.
- Review and approve test plans, methods, and protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to testing and equipment.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement and maintain a robust quality management system in line with ISO/IEC 17025.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and provide technical recommendations.

Research and Development:

- Stay updated with advancements in mechanical and chemical testing technologies and methodologies.
- Initiate and oversee research projects to enhance lab capabilities and service offerings.

Budget and Resource Management:

- Oversee procurement, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure the laboratory is adequately staffed and equipped to meet operational demands.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a mechanical or chemical testing laboratory, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and chemical testing standards, including BIS, ASTM, ISO, and other relevant standards.
- Proven experience with quality management systems, preferably ISO/IEC 17025.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.

Preferred Attributes:

- Professional certifications related to mechanical or chemical testing or quality management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
