**Designation**: Shift Incharge
**Salary Range**: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month
**Department**: Operations - CETP

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**:

- Take charge of CETP operations during the assigned shift.
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot plant processes and equipment.
- Ensure SOPs are strictly followed; obtain necessary approvals for any changes.
- Monitor control systems, alarms, instrumentation, and process parameters from the control room.
- Ensure efficient operation of pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and other critical equipment.

**Team Supervision**:

- Plan, prioritize, assign, and review work of shift staff (Operators, Fitters, Electricians).
- Ensure manpower under supervision is effectively utilized and managed.
- Provide first-level management and oversight; handle personnel actions when required.
- Act as departmental representative during the absence of the Department Head.

**Monitoring & Reporting**:

- Conduct routine and special sampling; ensure timely lab analysis and respond to results.
- Maintain daily reports, plant logbooks, hazardous waste data, and statutory records (e.g., GPCB visits, monthly Patrak).
- Report operational and laboratory data to top management.

**Compliance & Coordination**:

- Ensure compliance with GPCB norms and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Laboratory, and Commercial teams for smooth operation.
- Coordinate during plant shutdowns/breakdowns and ensure mínimal process impact.
- Assist external Environmental Auditors; prepare data and reports as required.

**Safety & Permits**:

- Enforce safety standards during plant operations.
- Issue work permits and ensure jobs are executed with full safety measures in place.
- Maintain plant security and emergency protocols.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma/B.E. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant CETP or ETP operational experience.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with GPCB norms and documentation.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, SCADA system knowledge preferred).
