**About UMEED**

UMEED aims to empower women socially and economically and has been working with women from low-income communities in

Hyderabad since 2014. In our 10+ years of work with women at the ground level, we have developed a deep understanding and carved out many livelihood interventions that are sustainable for women. Presently we are running four programs FirstLeap, Karigari, Shakti, and Sahyog. By means of our 3-bucket focus on skill building, mindset development and access to exposure, we aim to build the spirit of ‘Voice, Choice and Agency’ in women who will not only be empowered to take charge of their own lives, but will also become proactive catalysts of sustainable change in their communities.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Co-lead the creation of a sound outreach and expansion plan for the organization
- Co-monitor the outreach targets and plan for dropout management
- Network and build trusting outreach relationships with key stakeholders to communicate about our program
- Support the launch of our programs in new avenues in/cities and ensure smooth handover to the training team
- Develop and maintain relationships with career counselling agencies, employers and industry partners to facilitate career/job

placement drives
- Maintain detailed records of employer contacts, job placements agencies and other external partners.
- Support in contract management with an external partner organization ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
- Track and report career pathway placement outcomes and impact stories
- Support in organizing career drives, job fairs and employer meet-and-greet events
- Provide post-placement support to ensure job retention
- Support in monitoring and reporting progress towards your goals and problem-solve as needed
- Ensure compliance with the systems and the training processes of UMEED including logistics management, documentation

and reporting, and participation in internal trainings organized

**You’ll be a good fit if you**
- Have knowledge and are passionate about gender inequality and its impact on Indian communities
- Have knowledge of the social sector/skilling/entrepreneurship, local job market and industry trends landscape in the country
- Possess strong English, Hindi, and Telugu communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work with different stakeholders and effectively negotiate
- Have strong knowledge of data management software (preferred)
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree (in Social Work/Management/Development/Women’s Studies desirable, but not essential)
- Have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a stakeholder management role across skilling/facilitation/livelihood

generation in non-profits (preferred)
- Have experience in community mobilisation, job placement, recruitment, or HR roles
- Possess strong organizational and multitasking skills
