Dream a Dream a registered, charitable trust empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish in the 21st century using a creative life skills approach. We work with 10,000 young people a year through our two innovation labs - After School Life Skills Programme and Career Connect Programme. We have trained over 6,728 teachers/educators from 191 partners impacting over 1,68,200 children and young people. We have engaged over 1.2 million young people through state government partnerships and have scaled our work across India and Kenya through our unique Life Skills Development model. We work on a strong collaborative approach with local charities, corporates, volunteers, governments, expert consultants and as hosts for national and international strategic partners. Dream a Dream is considered to be a pioneer in the Life Skills space in India and is recently recognized by Lego Foundation and Ashoka as a Champion in the space of Re-Imagining Learning in the world.

**Role Objective/Purpose (Include overall objectives of the role, the need for the position)**:
Career Connect Programme is an integral part of the Innovation labs, which is one of the organisation’s focus areas. The Career Connect Programme (CCP) equips 15- to 23-year-olds with information, skills, and access to opportunities to make a healthy transition from adolescence to adulthood. We run this programme through two centres in under-resourced neighbourhoods. Different modules like Computer Education, Spoken English, Communication Skills, Money Management and Workplace Readiness are integrated with a high-impact life skills approach to help young people develop resilience, adaptability and confidence to deal with 21st century challenges.
The Role of Executive: Facilitating Life Skills Programme using different modules for young people at the Thriving Centre by creating a safe space where young people can be resilient, responsible, and happy to reach their potential to reimagine a better future for themselves.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Engage Young People between the age of 15 to 23-year-old in the Life Skills Development Programme through Community Visits.
- Implementation of Various Life Skill Development Modules at Thriving Centre.
- Create a safe space for young people to reach and reimagine their better future.
- Ensure diversity of young people are engaged in the programme.
- Create equitable opportunities for young people to learn and explore.
- Amplify young people thoughts and voices to change education ecosystems.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reports in timely manner, keeping within deadlines set.
- Ensure to Support team members for donor reports by giving Stories, Testimonials etc.
- Maintain database of the participation records of young people in the Programme (Attendance, Session Reports, Assessments).
- Ensure good percentage of young people’s attendance and retention in the sessions.
- Working collaboratively to reach the programme intent by practicing Equity, Inclusiveness and Dignity in the team.
- Constantly maintaining a good rapport with Stakeholders, Parents and Community Leaders.
- Support to reach the annual goals of the Programme.
- Support all Career Connect Programmes, Operation & Admin with Centre auditing and logistics support to the programme.
- Understand and follow the Organisation’s Policies.
- Ensure support to reach the organisation intent through programme implementation and by working with young people and stakeholders.
**Requirements (Skills, Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge)**
- Engagement and Facilitation Skills - Ability to engage young people and facilitate Life Skills Programme.
- Proficient in platforms like Microsoft Office & Internet with basic computer knowledge.
- Completed any Degree from recognised University or College.
- Strong spoken communication and articulations skills. Fluency in Kannada & English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team.
- Sustained passion and commitment to bring a positive change in the Eco system.
- Creative and Innovative in implementing the programme for young people thriving.
- Ability to work with Eco system (Community People, Education and Organisation Stakeholders).
- Strong experience in data & programme documents management skills.
- Ability to understand young people’s challenges and support them to thrive.
- Flexible with work timings and ability to work on Virtual Platform.
