Prepare and set up lab equipment, materials, and chemicals as required for practical lessons.
- Ensure that all laboratory apparatus and tools are in good working condition and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory by regularly cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and work areas.
- Handle the proper storage and disposal of chemicals, biological samples, and hazardous materials, in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of laboratory consumables and inform the Science Department when reordering is necessary.
- Support science teachers during practical lessons by setting up experiments, assisting students during lab activities, and ensuring that experiments are conducted safely.
- Provide technical assistance to students during lab work, including guiding them on using equipment and following lab procedures.
- Prepare specimen slides, samples, and other materials for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics experiments.
- Assist in the demonstration of experiments when required.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and lab guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Help ensure the safe use of chemicals, glassware, and electrical equipment, monitoring the lab environment for any potential hazards.
- Maintain first aid kits and be trained to handle minor lab-related injuries or accidents.
- Assist in the disposal of hazardous waste materials in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials.
- Ensure proper storage of all chemicals and reagents, following safety standards and guidelines.
- Keep track of any broken or damaged equipment and inform the science department for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Record all incoming supplies and maintain lab records of consumables, equipment, and experiments.
- Assist in preparing lab manuals, experiment protocols, and other teaching resources under the guidance of teachers.
- Keep track of usage data, inventory updates, and maintenance schedules for lab equipment.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
- Assist in organizing and setting up science fairs, exhibitions, and other events.
- Support teachers and students during science-related competitions, presentations, and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in staff meetings or training sessions to stay informed about new experiments, tools, or changes to curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with teachers regarding lab needs, safety issues, or equipment concerns.
- Participate in professional development activities or training to stay updated on best practices in laboratory management and safety.
- Learn new techniques, methods, or innovations to improve the functioning of the lab and support students' learning.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
