Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Jira instances, including user management, permissions, and configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and customize Jira workflows accordingly.
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to Jira functionalities.
- Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, reports, and filters to provide insights and metrics to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure data integrity and security within Jira instances.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Jira upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Jira with other tools and systems, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Jira features, plugins, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior Jira administrators and end-users on Jira functionalities and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Jira Administrator in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira administration, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions.
- Strong understanding of Jira plugins, integrations, and APIs.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Jira-related issues.
- Proficient in Jira administration tools and utilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Jira Administrator certification is a plus.
