Job Summary Roles Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JIRA Implementation Expert to join our team As a JIRA Implementation Expert you will be responsible for leading the implementation and configuration of JIRA across our organization You will work closely with various teams to understand their requirements design and implement JIRA workflows and provide guidance on best practices for using JIRA to optimize project management and collaboration Responsibilities JIRA Implementation Lead the implementation and configuration of JIRA across the departments ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives Requirements Gathering Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for JIRA implementation Understand their workflows processes and pain points to design effective JIRA solutions Workflow Design and Configuration Design and configure JIRA workflows issue types fields screens and permission schemes to meet the specific needs of different teams and projects Ensure workflows align with industry best practices and support efficient project management Customization and Integration Customize JIRA to enhance functionality and integrate with other tools and systems if needed Training and Adoption Provide training and support to users on JIRA functionality best practices and usage guidelines Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using JIRA Collaborate with teams to streamline workflows automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency Reporting and Analytics Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in JIRA to provide insights into project status team performance and key metrics Well versed with different JIRA plug-ins and core JIRA functions plus able to implement the same Any new plug-in should be able to learn fast and implement Requirements Proven experience as a JIRA Implementation Expert or JIRA Consultant with a strong understanding of JIRA implementation configuration and customization In-depth knowledge of JIRA workflows issue types fields screens and permission schemes Experience in designing and configuring complex workflows Experience in integrating JIRA with other tools and systems such as Confluence Bitbucket and third-party applications Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into efficient JIRA configurations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and drive JIRA implementation projects from initiation to completion Experience in training and supporting users on JIRA functionality and best practices Atlassian certifications such as JIRA Administrator Certification or JIRA Project Administrator Certification are highly desirable Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and their implementation in JIRA is a plus
