**Job Role Description**: The Placement Coordinator will work closely with the Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) of the assigned college to enhance employment opportunities for students. Their primary responsibility will be to support placement operations, facilitate student employability, and ensure successful job placements. **Roles and Responsibilities**: - **Collaboration with T&P Cell**: - Act as a liaison between the college’s T&P Cell and external stakeholders. - Understand and align with the guidelines and instructions provided by the central placement cell of the institution. - **Understanding Student Preferences**: - Engage with students to comprehend their career aspirations, preferred job domains, and geographic preferences. - Compile and maintain a database of students’ profiles to map their interests with suitable job opportunities. - **Corporate Outreach**: - Identify corporates and companies that align with the students’ domain interests and preferences. - Initiate and maintain contact with these organizations to explore job opportunities and placement drives. - **Planning Placement Drives**: - Organize pre-placement talks, job readiness training workshops, and placement drives. - Coordinate all aspects of the placement process, including scheduling interviews and other selection rounds. - **Student Support**: - Conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, and provide job readiness training to ensure students are well-prepared. - Oversee the entire interview process and ensure students receive offer letters as an outcome of the initiative. - **Exclusive Focus on Assigned College**: - Work exclusively for the placement operations of the assigned college. - Avoid involvement in placement activities for any other institution or program. - **Reporting and Accountability**: - Submit daily and weekly reports to the T&P Cell regarding placement activities, student - progress, and outreach outcomes. - Provide data and feedback to the IBM Skills Build program to evaluate the initiative & impact. - Ensure the placement of 500-700 students by the end of tenure while actively engaging - with recruiters and students. **Eligibility Requirements**: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in data management tools and reporting. - Familiarity with corporate hiring practices and industry trends. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA/HR specialization is a plus. - 1-3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or a related field. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - total work: 4 years (preferred) - Placement Coordination: 3 years (required) **Location**: - Delhi, Delhi (required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 02/12/2024
