**Training and Placement (Head/ Executive )**

**Job Summary**:
The Training and Placement Head is responsible for overseeing the placement and training activities within the university. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance students' employability, organizing training programs, establishing industry connections, and facilitating campus recruitment drives. The Training and Placement Head will collaborate with academic departments, industry partners, and students to ensure successful placements and a seamless transition from education to career.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Placement Strategy and Planning**:
Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with the university's goals and vision.

Set annual placement targets for students and ensure their successful achievement.

Track industry trends and employability skills requirements to keep placement activities updated.

**Industry Relations and Networking**:
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, recruitment agencies, and alumni.

Identify and engage with new companies for placement opportunities and internships.

Organize networking events, career fairs, and workshops involving industry experts.

**Training and Skill Development**:
Design and manage skill development programs, soft skills training, mock interviews, resume writing workshops, and personality development sessions.

Collaborate with faculty and external trainers to provide domain-specific training for students.

Ensure the training content is up-to-date, relevant, and meets industry standards.

**Student Counseling and Career Guidance**:
Guide and mentor students in choosing career paths based on their strengths, skills, and interests.

Organize sessions on career planning, resume building, and interview techniques.

**Campus Recruitment Drives**:
Oversee and manage the organization of recruitment drives, including scheduling interviews, coordination with companies, and communication with students.

Ensure all logístical and administrative tasks related to recruitment events are efficiently managed.

Provide post-placement support to both employers and students.

**Data Management and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate records of student placements, internships, and other career-related activities.

Monitor and report on placement success, industry feedback, and student satisfaction.

Analyze placement data and present regular reports to the university administration and stakeholders.

**Collaboration with Academic Departments**:
Work closely with academic departments to ensure that the training programs complement the academic curriculum and meet industry needs.

Align training initiatives with academic schedules and university policies.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Regularly assess the effectiveness of training programs and placement processes.

Gather feedback from students, faculty, and recruiters to improve training and placement services.

Stay updated on industry trends, employment patterns, and new recruitment tools.

**Alumni Relations**:
Engage alumni in mentoring programs, guest lectures, and workshops.

Leverage alumni networks to generate placement and internship opportunities for students.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master's Degree Preferred
- **Experience**: At least 5-7 years of experience in placement, training, or career services, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends and employment opportunities.
- Proficiency in data management and report generation.
- Familiarity with placement management software and tools.
