Introduction

What will you be doing?
- Provide real time support to all Credit TCU operational activities as required by the desk - Initial Trade Capture, Position Changes - Back-loading, Assignments/Novation, and Amendments etc.
- Responsible for exception and query management
- Liaise with internal counterparts (i.e. Infrastructure Middle Office, Client Operations, Trade Control, Post-Trade Services, Trade Support, Legal, Finance, Compliance, New Product Services, Collateral Ops, On-boarding Teams) to understand requests for entries required to ensure accurate capture in our systems
- Report to management on requests received and completed
- Adhere to a ‘right first time’ policy on all Trade Capture activity
- Input real-time exceptions related to regulations into Trade Capture Systems (e.g. MIFID, Dodd-Frank, Brexit, Mandatory Clearing)
- Prepare detailed reports for the TCU desks as and when required
- Automate various daily processes and tasks with the help of Advanced Excel/Macros/VBA/reporting automation tools to enhance the current reporting capability & instil greater control and mitigate operational risks.
- Role requires timing flexibility as apart from covering European desks at times there would be a need to support desk in other geographies. Usual work timings would be as per UK timings, 08.30 am to 06.30 pm Lon time.

What we’re looking for:

- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred, experience in other areas of Finance are allowed
- Genuine interest in financial markets, Good knowledge about Financial Instruments
- Attention to detail. Role would be impact the risk of the desk and hence requires 100% accuracy
- Strong drive and motivation to succeed
- Ability to prioritise, be flexible and respond to changing environments
- Resourcefulness, enthusiasm and evidences initiative to learn
- An excellent team player who responds well to high intensity and pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel skills, MS Office skills and inclination to learn new IT Skills
- Proven academic performance and numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to automate complex processes to generate efficiency in processes
- Confident and personable with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the Trading/ Sales

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Previous experience with Credit Products preferred but not required
