We at akbar offshore Pvt Ltd hiring for below position:
Job Profile: Operations Cordinator

Roles and responsibilities:

- Add telephone requests to Breezer tool.
- Acknowledge requests in a timely manner.
- Search for lowest fare across PCC’s using GDS and prepare a quote for ticketing request balancing between offering lowest fares and maximising commission earnings for the company.
- Send Quote to the prospect / customer with accurate information about airfare, terms and conditions of transit, and required documentation to enable booking.
- Follow-up on quotes sent to the prospect / customer to ensure conversion.
- Complete the booking and send out the tickets with accurate information about airfare and terms and conditions of transit, ensuring that all necessary information is entered accurately.
- Ensure that bookings are made without ADM / losses on tickets.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure repeat business and no escalations.
- Any other job assigned by the reporting lead / manager.

**Competencies**
- Excellent knowledge of GDS, Air Ticketing and IATA rules
- Must be able to calculate quickly and accurately without the help of a calculator.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Relationship Skills.

**Teams reporting to this position**
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

**Work environment**
- Six weekly offs per month, which will change according to the roster

**Physical demands**
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with complete focus and attention.
- Must be able to work at odd working hours as required by Business Needs.

**Travel required**
- No travel required as a part of the job requirements.

**Required education and experience**
- Must have an IATA approved travel Diploma or Bachelor / Masters in Travel Administration

**Preferred education and experience**
- Between 1- year and 1- year 6- months’ experience in a Travel Agency / Travel BPO handling backend ticketing process.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
