As an Assistant Professor at our esteemed institution in Periyar University, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic experience of our students and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in your field. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- **Teaching and Instruction**: Delivering engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in your area of expertise. Ensuring that course content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with academic standards.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials, course syllabi, and teaching resources. Incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies to facilitate active learning and student engagement.
- **Research and Scholarship**: Conducting high-quality research and scholarly activities in your specialized field. Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, and actively participating in academic discourse and knowledge dissemination.
- **Student Support and Mentorship**: Providing academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students. Advising students on academic and career-related matters, and fostering a supportive learning environment conducive to student success.
- **Administrative Duties**: Fulfilling administrative responsibilities related to academic governance, such as serving on departmental committees, participating in faculty meetings, and contributing to institutional initiatives and strategic planning.

**Salary**: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
