**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and set up **Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)**.
- Read and interpret **engineering drawings, CAD models, and process sheets**.
- Prepare machine setup, including **tool selection, fixture setting, and workpiece alignment**.
- Perform **offset corrections, program adjustments, and minor troubleshooting**.
- Carry out **precision machining operations** as per specifications.
- Monitor machining processes and ensure components meet **dimensional accuracy and surface finish**.
- Conduct **basic preventive maintenance** of machines and tools.
- Ensure adherence to **safety standards and shop floor discipline**.
- Collaborate with quality inspectors to resolve any dimensional or quality issues.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical, Production, or relevant field.
- **2-5 years’ experience** in VMC machine operation and setting.
- Knowledge of **Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls** (as applicable).
- Ability to use **measuring instruments** (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, CMM knowledge preferred).
- Hands-on experience in **tool offsets, program editing, and fixture setups**.
- Understanding of **cutting parameters for different materials** (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an added advantage.
