**Position Title**: Insurance Administrator
**Location**: Vile Parle, Mumbai
Job Overview:
The Insurance Administrator is responsible for managing and processing various insurance-related activities within the organization. This role involves overseeing the administration of insurance policies, claims processing, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The Insurance Administrator works closely with insurance providers, claims adjusters, and internal teams to maintain efficient operations and ensure proper coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Policy Administration**:
- Administer and maintain accurate records of insurance policies, including renewals, cancellations, and amendments.
- Ensure that all policies align with company requirements and legal obligations.
- Monitor policy expiration dates and ensure timely renewals or replacements.
- **Claims Management**:
- Assist employees in filing insurance claims and ensure that claims are processed promptly.
- Act as a liaison between the company, insurance providers, and third-party vendors regarding claims and coverage.
- Track and manage the status of claims, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- **Risk Management Support**:
- Assist in evaluating the company’s insurance needs and coverage options.
- Work with senior management to identify potential insurance risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Monitor changes in laws or regulations that may affect the company’s insurance policies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain and organize insurance records, policies, claims, and correspondence.
- Prepare and generate reports on insurance costs, claims, and coverage status for management review.
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external audit requirements.
- **Communication & Coordination**:
- Respond to insurance-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other external partners to ensure efficient service.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on insurance benefits and claims procedures.
- **Billing and Payment Management**:
- Process and verify insurance premium payments, ensuring that invoices are accurate.
- Track and reconcile any discrepancies in insurance billing.
Qualifications:
- **Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- **Experience**:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in insurance administration, claims processing, or a related field.
- **Skills**:
- Knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and general insurance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
