YOU’LL BE A MEMBER OF: POPS team

What you’ll do at Ather:
You will be involved in developing, facilitating, supporting, designing, executing and evaluating all

technical training at Ather’s factory to improve and enhance required skills of team members,

predominantly associates.

The role requires you to be a self-driven professional and work closely with other team members at the

Hosur factory, POPS* and the Functional Leaders and experts within Manufacturing Operations at Ather.

So we are looking for a technical expert, reporting to the Training and Development Manager, taking care

of the technical training end-to-end.

Here’s a look at the details of what goes into this role:
Manage end-to-end of technical training: Training Needs Identification, Content creation,

Training calendar, Assessments to measure effectiveness (70-20-10 model) & Delivery

Benchmark DOJO set up from various similar industries & continuously improve it

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (swimlanes),particularly with Talent management

swimlane, to co-create technical training modules to address competency gaps

Identify various 3rd party certification programs to address technical competency gaps or

capability needs identified

Responsible for delivering all the technical training as a part of new joinee (associates)

onboarding

Drive nominations and participation from all functions within the Operations vertical

Responsible for maintaining all training data and creating a governance mechanism

Maintain a technical skills matrix of each employee to assess the technical skills gained over the

years.

HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Electricals / Electronics &

Communication Engineering

6 to 8 years of experience in developing training programs & delivering classroom training

Experience of working in manufacturing companies such as automotive, electronics & other

related industries

Well versed with the concepts of Toyota Production System

Expertise in delivering technical trainings related to Toyota Production System such as 5S, Kaizen,

VSM, PDCA cycle, MOST etc.,

Technical expertise in understanding manufacturing process preferably OEM & auto components

( Tier-1 )

Exposure to various softwares such as SAP, JIRA preferred

Experience in delivering classroom and virtual training

Ownership, A self driven professional who has the ability to work under pressure

Ability to communicate fluently in English, Hindi & any one of south indian languages such as

Kannada, Tamil, Telugu
