**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standard and meets quality requirements.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by properly storing ingredients and notifying the senior chefs of stock levels.
- Learn and understand kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking techniques, and plating.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by ensuring timely preparation of dishes.
- Take initiative to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills.
- Assist in receiving and checking the quality of food supplies.

**Requirements**:

- A diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
