Job Details
Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
- Lead the design and development of custom Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts as requested by senior leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements and design specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team during solution implementation.
- Mentor and coach junior Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
- Implement and enforce Salesforce governance policies and security measures.
- Perform regular system audits and optimize configurations for performance and scalability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of Salesforce solutions, architecture, and configurations.
- Create technical design documents and architecture diagrams.
- Keep abreast of emerging Salesforce technologies and recommend their adoption as appropriate.
- Conduct regular performance assessments of Salesforce solutions and recommend improvements.
- Optimize code, configurations, and data architecture to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and issues.
- Lead change management efforts related to Salesforce enhancements and updates.
- Develop and execute deployment strategies for new releases while minimizing disruptions.
- Ensure that all Salesforce implementations comply with regulatory requirements and data privacy laws.
- Implement and enforce data retention policies and data archiving strategies.
- Collaborate with Salesforce vendors and partners to evaluate and implement third-party solutions that enhance the platform.
- Establish and maintain a robust quality assurance process for Salesforce development and customization.
- Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain a library of test cases and test scripts.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the Salesforce team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for critical Salesforce issues and outages.
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan and participate in business continuity planning.
- Lead rapid response efforts to resolve urgent technical problems.
- Continuously update and improve documentation for Salesforce solutions, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.
- Maintain a repository of reusable code snippets and configuration templates.
- Ensure that all documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify new opportunities for leveraging Salesforce to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Collect and prioritize user feedback and enhancement requests, incorporating them into the Salesforce roadmap.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions.
- Platform Developer 1 and Administrator certifications requirements; Additional certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a Salesforce-related team.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security, and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in CRM and Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience with Einstein Analytics and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
