**Job Summary**:
We are looking for passionate and hardworking Commis -I Cook to join our fast growing, multi-cuisine restaurant in Goa.

COMMIS - I: _**Indian, Chinese, Goan, Tandoor, Pantry**_

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Prepare food for guests while following guidelines laid out, ensuring the quality and quantity as per the restaurant standards and state regulations.
- Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner while adhering to best practices and careful preparation of food items.
- As a Responsible Cook, you need to comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
- Control food stock and food cost in your food department and overall kitchen.
- Communicate the assistance needed during busy hours of the Restaurant.
- As an effective Commis I Chef ensure that all stocks are well maintained and required stock orders are placed in timely manner.
- Ensure that mise-en-place for food preparation is completed in your department.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparations of food.
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
- Support the Chef & Sous Chef in the daily operation and work.
- Test food to ensure proper preparation and temperature before serving.

**Requirements**:
1) Minimum 2 years work experience in Indian, Chinese or Goan cuisine.

2) Perfect Knowledge of department

3) Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.

4) Standing or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform is also required.

5) Flexibility to work in changing circumstances.

7) This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs or more

8) Should be available to work between 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM

**Job Timings**:
Break Shift: 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Monday through Sunday with one weekly off.

**Food and accommodation would be provided.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
