- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Record and document inspection results, including measurement data, defects, and non-conformances.
- Create and maintain inspection reports, tracking defects or trends that may indicate larger quality issues.
- Report findings to production teams, supervisors, or quality managers and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- **Quality Control Procedures**:

- Review and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure parts conform to quality standards.
- Conduct testing of parts (e.g., strength, durability, performance) to verify that they meet functional requirements.
- Participate in the development of quality control plans and procedures to ensure consistent production quality.
- **Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions**:

- Identify potential root causes of defects or non-conformities and assist in investigating and resolving quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure that corrective actions are effective and that quality improvements are sustained over time.
- **Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment**:

- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate readings.
- Ensure that inspection tools and devices are in good working condition and meet the required standards.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Ensure traceability and proper handling of defective or non-conforming parts as per company procedures.
- **Collaboration with Production Teams**:

- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth communication regarding product quality.
- Provide feedback and training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to production staff.
- Assist in conducting internal and external audits related to quality systems and processes.
