IT Support Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Excel Data Analysis**: Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data, identify trends, create reports, and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT performance and operations.
- Create and manage complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and charts.
- Perform data cleansing, data validation, and support data-driven decision-making.
- **System Maintenance**: Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- **Reporting**: Compile and present technical support metrics, system performance data, and operational reports using Excel to identify areas for improvement.
- **Ticket Management**: Track and resolve IT support tickets, ensuring all issues are logged and resolved in the ticketing system.
- **Data Management**: Assist in the organization, backup, and analysis of data to improve overall IT service delivery.
- **Documentation**: Create and maintain user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and documentation for internal IT procedures.
- **Inventory Management**: Support the tracking of IT assets and software licenses, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
**Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications (BCA, MCA), or Computer Science (BSc in Computer Science).
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- **Microsoft Excel Expertise**: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as:
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and complex formulas
- Data validation, conditional formatting, and charts
- Data analysis, reporting, and trend identification
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with troubleshooting IT systems and software.
- Experience with data analysis techniques, able to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in data to improve IT processes.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of database management tools.
- Certification in Microsoft Excel or data analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices.
