**About the role**:
As a System Administrator responsible for overseeing the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networks. They act as the first line of defense against technical issues, support end-users, and implement security measures to protect organizational data.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Operating System Management**:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Manage and monitor compliance status for desktops/servers, ensuring proper patching and updates.

**Network Security**:

- Secure systems by installing and troubleshooting antivirus software and ensuring regular updates.
- Configure and manage security firewalls, switches, and Internet Leased Lines (ILL).
- Update and maintain firewall rules to strengthen network security.

**User and System Access**:

- Grant administrative rights, remote desktop access, and file/folder permissions based on requests.
- Add devices to Azure AD and manage access control systems (e.g., eSSL).

**Remote Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and resolve end-to-end technical problems using remote tools.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, system updates, and troubleshooting processes.

**Office365 and Microsoft Products**:

- Troubleshoot and escalate Office365 issues to appropriate teams.
- Resolve issues with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

**Cloud and Intune Management**:

- Deploy, manage, and monitor Intune MDM for device and app management.
- Create and enforce app protection policies and device configuration settings in Intune Endpoint Manager.

**System and Network Diagnostics**:

- Identify and resolve networking problems using diagnostic software and tools.
- Perform regular equipment setup and minor hardware/software repairs.

**Automation and DevOps Integration**:

- Use scripting tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks.
- Leverage DevOps practices to enhance system and deployment efficiency.

**Desired Qualification**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Expertise in managing Windows Server, Linux, Unix, and macOS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and configuration of switches and routers.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including vulnerability assessments and firewall management.
- Experience with enterprise tools like Intune and Azure AD.
- Effective troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good experience in system administration, technical support, and ITIL processes.
- Hands-on experience in Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM).
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud concepts like OpenStack.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and user support.
