Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of our trucks, drivers, and freight to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate Truck Schedules: Plan and optimize truck routes, schedules, and loads to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.

2. Assign Drivers and Equipment: Assign drivers and equipment to specific routes and loads, taking into account driver availability, equipment capabilities, and regulatory requirements.

3. Track and Monitor Shipments: Continuously track and monitor shipments, responding to any issues or delays that may arise.

4. Communicate with Drivers and Customers: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and customers, providing updates, resolving issues, and addressing concerns.

5. Manage Driver Hours and Logs: Ensure compliance with hours of service regulations, managing driver hours and logs to prevent fatigue and maintain safety.

6. Optimize Load Planning: Analyze freight demand, capacity, and routing to optimize load planning and minimize empty miles.

7. Maintain Accurate Records: Accurately maintain records of shipments, driver hours, and equipment maintenance.

8. Collaborate with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of transportation plans.

**Requirements**:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required

2. 2+ Years of Dispatching Experience: Preferred

3. CDL Knowledge: Preferred

4. Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Required

5. Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required

6. Proficient in Transportation Management Software: Preferred
