Mechanical Draftsperson

1. Understanding Project Requirements:
Collaborate with design and production teams to understand project requirements, including the types of materials to be used and the specifications of the parts.

2. Utilizing Nesting Software:
Proficiently use AutoCAD and nesting software to arrange parts on material sheets in the most efficient way, considering factors such as material utilization, cutting time, and machine constraints.

3. Optimizing Material Usage:
Work to minimize material waste by efficiently placing parts within the available material sheets, considering different cutting patterns and strategies.

4. Generating Nesting Layouts:
Create nesting layouts that can be used for cutting or manufacturing processes, ensuring that the arrangement adheres to design specifications and quality standards.

5. Collaborating with Designers:
Coordinate with designers and drafters to ensure that the nesting layouts align with the design intent and that any design modifications are considered during nesting.

6. Quality Control:
Perform quality control checks on nesting layouts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

7. Material Inventory Management:
Assist in managing material inventory by keeping track of material sheets and updating records based on nesting layouts.

8. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in nesting methodologies and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

9.Collaboration with Production Team:
Work closely with the production team to address any issues during the manufacturing process and make adjustments as needed.

10.Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation related to nesting layouts, including versions, modifications, and any specific instructions for the production team.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
