Mechanical Draftsperson

A Mechanical Drafter for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings of mechanical systems within a building project, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems, utilizing CAD software to translate design concepts from engineers into precise construction plans, ensuring coordination with other disciplines like electrical and structural design to produce accurate and comprehensive MEP drawings for construction purposes. Key Responsibilities:

- **Design and Drafting**:

- Develop detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems like ductwork, piping, equipment layouts, and support structures based on project specifications and engineer calculations.
- Create 2D and 3D models of mechanical systems using CAD software, including plan views, sections, elevations, and isometric drawings.
- Annotate drawings with accurate dimensions, material specifications, and other relevant details.
- Generate detailed component drawings for custom fabricated parts.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with MEP engineers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into drawings.
- Coordinate with other disciplines like structural, architectural, and electrical drafters to identify potential clashes and resolve conflicts.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide feedback on drawing accuracy and constructability.
- **Software Proficiency**:

- Expertise in AutoCAD or other industry-standard CAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.
- May utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) software for integrated design and coordination

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
