Finance Coordinator - Hybrid

**Job Location**: Mumbai / Hybrid
- You will work alongside, and support, Partners and other colleagues; this proximity to senior leadership will give you invaluable insight into our work and that of our clients. You will work with members of the global organisation (in offices that span San Francisco, New York, London, Mumbai) and with members of the broader global LQ network (China, South Africa, Brazil, Europe and North America).

**Key responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable. Input invoices on to the Netsuite Accounts System on a timely basis.
- Creation of Projects on Netsuite as per Salesforce Updates
- Expenses. Review the documentation on Expensify, and ensure coding is consistent. Liaising with the Programmes team & Associates as required
- Assisting in keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including invoices, statements, etc.
- Oversight of credit card expenses: review the documentation on Expensify, and ensure coding is consistent. Liaise with the Programmes Team and Associates as required.
- To help liaison with external agencies in India such as banks, auditors, system providers and other third-party advisors, including tax authorities.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks that may arise from time to time

**Key skills and characteristics**:

- Graduation in accounting, business, finance or a related field.
- Familiarity with accounting software used by SMEs (we use NetSuite).
- Good English written and communication skills.
- Willingness to lease dealing in foreign currencies.
- A keen interest in technology and software to improve efficiency.
- Proficient in using Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with desktop software.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on multiple roles to get the job done.
- Honesty, integrity and commitment.
- Sense of humour, fun and humility.

**This is a 1 year contract position based in Mumbai (partly working from home, partly in an office)**
