**Role Overview**:

The position offers an opportunity to engage in impactful research that addresses energy efficiency challenges in modern buildings, utilizing advanced data analysis tools, machine learning techniques, and state-of-the-art testing facilities to gain practical insights and drive technological advancements.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Analyze building energy data, sensor inputs, and system performance records using advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical tools to identify inefficiencies and optimize cooling solutions.
- Develop and implement data-driven models to predict system behaviour, optimize cooling performance, and enhance thermal comfort in modern buildings.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to collect and interpret data from laboratory and real-world settings, producing detailed reports on system performance, anomalies, and potential improvements.
- Assist in the design and testing of smart control algorithms and digital solutions for building management systems, ensuring energy-efficient operation of cooling technologies.

**Qualifications**:
