**Position: PGT English Teacher**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging English curriculum for higher secondary students.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Conduct classroom activities, discussions, and assessments to monitor and enhance student performance.
- Encourage and motivate students to read and appreciate literature.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to improve their academic performance.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events.
- Participate in professional development workshops and stay updated with current educational practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of students.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and effective learning environment.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
