Job Description: Corporate Lawyer (Contracts and General Legal Matters)

As a Corporate Lawyer specializing in contracts and general legal matters, your primary role is to provide expert legal counsel and support to the company's corporate activities. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and safeguarding the organization's interests.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Review and Drafting: Examine and prepare a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to commercial agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and employment contracts. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and legal compliance in all contractual documentation.

2. Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions that align with the company's objectives while mitigating potential risks.

3. Legal Advisory: Offer timely and well-informed legal advice on corporate matters, business transactions, and day-to-day operations to support decision-making processes.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company's adherence to legal requirements and minimize legal exposure.

5. Dispute Resolution: Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and participate in mediation or settlement negotiations when necessary.

6. Intellectual Property: Provide guidance on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, to protect the organization's intellectual assets.

7. Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance issues, ensuring compliance with corporate bylaws and other legal obligations.

8. Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions to identify potential legal risks and liabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in corporate law, with a focus on contracts and commercial transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide actionable legal advice to non-legal professionals.
- Thorough understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
